A Feast for Crowshas been adapted as HBO’s
Game of Thrones(2011-2019), primarily as the series’ fifth season.
While A Feast for Crows picks up where its predecessor A Storm of Swords (2000) left off, due to the substantial length of the manuscript, Martin chose to split the novel in two during the publishing process. Thus, A Feast for Crows only contains chapters narrated by about half of the series’ surviving viewpoint characters.
