The First Book of Odesand five of Bunting's longer poems: “Villon”, “Attis: Or, Something Missing”; “Aus dem Zweiten Reich”, “The Well of Lycopolis” and “Chomei at Toyama”) (all of which had previously appeared in
Poems: 1950); Bunting the translator was represented by “How Duke Valentine Contrived” (a version from Machiavelli which had also appeared previously in
Poems: 1950) and four short poems…
