is now available online and enables anyone interested to access this bellwether of popular cultural sentiment across the early years of the nineteenth century.

Since Ackermann was a trained engraver (as well as skilled saddle maker and designer of coaches and carriages), the inclusion of hand-coloured high-quality lithographs illustrating the latest ladies’ fashions and of topographical subjects (London streets and squares, historical monuments, ….)
