The Saharawi Friendship Generation [
Generación de la amistad saharaui] of writers were constituted as such during a meeting in Madrid on 9 July 2005, although the members wrote and created together for several years before this. Signatories to the Founding Declaration of the 2005 meeting are the writers Mohamed Salem Abdelfatah Ebnu, Mohamed Ali Ali Salem, Limam Boicha, Zahra Hasnaoui, Bahia Mahmoud Awah, Ali Salem Iselmu Musa (Pirri), Lehdia Dafa Mohamed, Chejdan Mahmud Liazid, Saleh Abdelahe, Luali Lehsan and Mohamidi Fakal-la. Other writers that have later become associated with the Friendship Generation include Sukina Aali-Taleb, Larosi Haidar, Abdurrahaman Boudda, Ahmed Muley Ali Hamadi, Said Beilal, Salka Embarek, Mohammed Sidati and Fatima Ghalia Mohammed.
