Although there have been television productions filmed in the studio, and The Boys From Syracuse (1940) is a 20th- century musical based on the play, Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors has never been made as a film by anyone in the West. Komedia Oshibok (1978) is a TV production, filmed in two parts, which in many of its formalistic aspects resembles a feature film.
