Guðrún Baldvina Árnadóttir, born 3 June 1887 and died 22 August 1975, who used the nom-de-plume Guðrún frá Lundi, was an Icelandic writer who enjoyed great popularity in the post-war period and later became seen as culturally relevant.

Guðrún was born in the farm Lundur, one of the eleven children of Árni Magnússon and his wife Baldvina Ásgrímsdóttir. Guðrún did not enjoy much formal education but took up writing as a teenager, living in Höfðaströnd and Skagi. Having married the carpenter Jón Þorfinnsson, had children and moved to Sauðárkrókur in 1940, she resumed writing and her first book, Dalalíf [Life in the Valley], was finally published in 1946 when she was 59.
