Anilda Ibrahimi is an award-winning writer and a prominent voice in Italian transnational literature. Born in Vlorë (a port city in Southern Albania) in 1972, Ibrahimi left her country of origin for Switzerland in 1994, and she permanently moved to Rome, Italy, in 1997. She has published four books in Italian and a fifth one is forthcoming in 2021. Her first work,
