Reverend Panagiotis Kapodistrias was born at Banato on the Eptanesian island of Zakynthos on 16 November 1961. He is married to Photini Papantoni and has three children. After having attended elementary school in his hometown and the Ecclesiastical Lyceum of Patra, he studied Accounting at Vergis School of Patra and Divinity at the University of Athens. He became a member of the clergy in 1983 and in 1987 he was ordained Presbyter, the same year he has his first poetry collection,
