Kim Scott is a celebrated multi-award winning Australian Aboriginal writer. The son of a white mother and an Aboriginal father, Scott is a Wirlomin Noongar, whose traditional lands stretched between Albany and Esperance on the southern coast of Western Australia. In the author’s biography accompanying the 25th anniversary edition of his 1999 novel
