Génie du christianismeou Beautés de la Religion chrétienne[The Genius of Christianity or Beauties of the Christian Religion] (1802). Thanks to his
Mémoires d’outre-tombe[Memoirs from beyond the Grave], compiled intermittently from 1803 to 1846, he is a noted memorialist. In the related genre of the travelogue, he published for example an
