Morris Panych is an award-winning, multi-faceted man of the theatre – writer, actor, and director. He has appeared in more than fifty leading roles on stage and many featured performances for television (including a recurring role in the popular series The X-Files) and directed more than ninety Canadian productions. However, Panych considers himself primarily a playwright. Twice, he has received the Governor General's Award for Drama for his plays The Ends of the Earth (1994) and Girl in the Goldfish Bowl (2004). His work is widely produced in Canada, The United States as well as internationally with productions in Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
