Michael DiSanto

Michael John DiSanto is Associate Professor of English at Algoma University and teaches literature and thought of the long nineteenth century, the novel, and the history of literary criticism. He is the author of Under Conrad's Eyes: The Novel as Criticism, published by McGill-Queen's UP. He is the editor of Criticism of Thomas Carlyle and the co-editor, with Brian Crick, of Literary Criticism of Matthew Arnold and D.H. Lawrence: Selected Criticism, all published by Edgeways Books. He is currently editing scholarly editions of the poetry and essays of George Whalley. He is also writing Whalley's biography.
