Christopher Hugh Gair

Christopher Gair is a Senior Lecturer in English and American Studies at the University of Glasgow, Scotland (See profile). He is the author of Complicity and Resistance in Jack London’s Novels: From Naturalism to Nature (1997), The American Counterculture (2007) and The Beat Generation (2008) and editor of Beyond Boundaries: C.L.R. James and Postnational Studies (2006). He has edited editions of Stephen Crane’s Maggie: a Girl of the Streets (2000) and Jack London’s South Sea Tales (2002) and is editor of Symbiosis: a Journal of Transatlantic Literary and Cultural Relations.
