Steven Macnamara

Steven Macnamara is an independent researcher with an interest in Radclyffe Hall, Una Troubridge, modernism and queer theory. His PhD explored masculinity in Radclyffe Hall's work. He has published essays on Joan of Arc and Hall in Reimagining Masculinities: Beyond Masculinist Epistemology (2014), Hall's use of vision in Interrogating Lesbian Modernism: Histories, Forms, Genres (2023), and an article on the silent novel in The Well of Loneliness for the Ransom Center Magainze (2017).
