Beth Mills
Dr Beth Mills received her PhD in September 2022 from the University of Exeter and University of Reading. Her publications include: ‘“Weird and Fantastic Realism”: Science and Stories in the Work of Grant Allen’, Victorian Popular Fictions Journal, vol. 3, no. 1, 2021, pp. 140-154; a review of The Huxleys: An Intimate History of Evolution by Alison Bashford, Social History of Medicine, Aug. 2023; and ‘Strange Stories’, The Literary Encyclopedia, 9 Sept. 2024. She works for the University of Exeter Library and as a Digitisation Assistant for the Digital Archive of the Middle East (DAME), and has worked as a Project Assistant on Hardy’s Correspondents and Places of Poetry. She has a board member of the Romance, Revolution & Reform journal since 2020.
