Oddur Pálsson

Oddur Pálsson (1998-)

Oddur is Icelandic born in 1998. He has studied Icelandic and Icelandic literature in The University of Iceland and finished his masters degree in 2023, he currently studies pedagogy at the same university. In his master thesis he explored how the 12th century magnate Jón Loftsson is covered in Icelandic medieval sources. The goal was to examine if and how Jón Loftsson’s character, his presence and role, varies between stories of bishops, stories of kings, and Sturlunga. Although Oddur's emphasis was on medieval literature in his master thesis he is also interested in contemporary literature.
