Elena Valli

Elena Valli is a PhD candidate in English at Trinity College Dublin. Her project studies the influence of Early Modern Catholic meditation and affective prayer on mid Twentieth century American and British poetry. She was postgraduate representative for the British Association for Modernist Studies  and co-editor of The Modernist Review (2022-2024) and is co-editor of the peer-reviewed journal of comparative poetry Semicerchio. Her articles and reviews on Anthony Hecht and T.S. Eliot have been published in Eikon/Imago and Time Present. She has presented at several conferences, including MLA, PAMLA, New Work in Modernist Studies, and The British Association of Modernist Studies Conference.
