Yvonne Medina
Yvonne Medina is a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology. She earned her doctorate in English literature from the University of Florida where she specialized in Victorian children's literature and critical disability studies. She earned her B.A. in English and French literature from Bryn Mawr College. Her research interests include boyhood studies, Robinsonades (castaway novels), and Francophone children's literature. Her current research and recent work focus on how children’s authors didactically teach values related to time management in Victorian fiction for girls. Her work appears in Children's Literature Quarterly and Children's Literature in Education.
