Scott Caddy
Dr. Scott Caddy is currently a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech. He received his PhD in English Literature from Arizona State University in 2021. His current research explores the possibilities of literary outliers from a statistical and historical perspective. His dissertation focused on lesser-studied works by Sir Walter Scott and George Eliot. Dr. Caddy has received outstanding teaching awards from his time at the University of Michgain-Flint and as a PhD candidate at Arizona State University. His publication record includes a chapter in Fan Phemonena: Jane Austen, entitled "Fan Media and Transmedia: Jane Austen in the Digital Age" (Intellect Books, 2015) and an upcoming article on Charles Dickesns's The Mystery of Edwin Drood as data for a special collection in The Dickensian (forthcoming 2024/25).
