Sandra Gasparini
Sandra Gasparini earned her Ph.D. in Literature from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is professor of Argentine Literature I (Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad de Buenos Aires) and Argentine Narrative I (Departamento de Artes de la Escritura, Universidad Nacional de las Artes, City of Buenos Aires). Her research interests are fantastic and horror literature, and connecctions between science and Argentinian literature and culture. She has edited books by Eduardo L. Holmberg, Adolfo Bioy Casares and Esteban Echeverría, and she is the author of several articles and reviews both in books and in academic journals, like Zama, Brumal, Estudios de Teoría literaria and many others. Some of her works are Espectros de la ciencia: Fantasías científicas de la Argentina del siglo XIX (2012), Las horas nocturnas. Diez lecturas sobre terror, fantástico y ciencia (2020) e Iniciado del alba: Seis ensayos y un epílogo sobre Luis A. Spinetta (editor and contributor) (2016).
