Lance Wilcox

Lance Wilcox is a professor of English at Elmhurst University, outside of Chicago. He has published articles on Samuel Johnson, Elizabeth Inchbald, and William Shakespeare, among other. In 2016, Broadview Press, Canada, published an edition of Johnson’s Life of Mr Richard Savage which he co-edited with Nicholas Seager, Keele University. He is currently doing further work on the Life of Savage and on Johnson’s “London.” Besides his scholarly work, he has published poems, essays, and short fiction, and has had two plays produced.
