Lillie Brown

An assistant professor of English at Florida A&M University, Lillie Anne Brown has published articles in Southern Quarterly, Revista Lingua & Literatura, Journal of the English Association of Pennsylvania State Universities, Black and White Masculinities in the American South, and Compendium 2, with articles forthcoming in Children of the Changing South, and the Environmental Encyclopedia of American Literatue. Other scholarly works are under review. She has lectured extensively on the works of Ernest J. Gaines, and is currently editing Kaleidoscope: Essays on Kinship, Community, and Cultural Traditions. She holds a PhD in American Literature from Florida State University.
