John Edward Tanner

Dr. John Edward Tanner was awarded his PhD by Bangor University for a study of the American writer, Richard Brautigan, which seeks to establish Brautigan's contribution to literary innovation through a close study of key works and a comparison with contemporary American innovators. Dr. Tanner teaches part-time at Bangor and has a collection of poetry,Pieces, published by Cinnamon Press. He is a former journalist and new media executive who turned to creative writing and academia after taking early retirement.
