Doreen D'Cruz

Doreen D'Cruz is a Senior Lecturer in the School of English and Media Studies at Massey University, New Zealand. She is the author of Loving Subjects: Narratives of Female Desire (2002) and co-author with John C. Ross of The Lonely and the Alone: The Poetics of Isolation in New Zealand Fiction (2011). She has also published articles on British, American, Australian and New Zealand writers. From 2001 to 2007, she was an Associate Editor for The Year's Work in English Studies .
