Tim Cooper

Tim Cooper is Senior Lecturer in Church History at the University of Otago, New Zealand. He is the author of Fear and Polemic in Seventeenth Century England: Richard Baxter and Antinomianism (Aldershot: Ashgate, 2001). His current book project, to be published by Ashgate, examines the strained relationship between John Owen and Richard Baxter, and its implications for the formation of English Nonconformity. He is also the author of several academic articles, and is closely involved in editing a scholarly edition of Richard Baxter's autobiography.
