Lynne Miles-Morillo

Miles-Morillo is a scholar of fifteenth- to seventeenth-century German language and literature and of world history. Literacy, scripts, and text-image interplay on the published page are central to her own research, and as a world historian, she is involved in the Frameworks of World History project at Oxford UP (http://global.oup.com/us/companion.websites/9780199987795//). She also has a keen interest in issues of gender, from her involvement with the Archiv der deutschen Frauenbewegung in Kassel, Germany to her work on the early twentieth-century peace activist and feminist Helene StÓ§cker. An undergraduate alumna of a college for women, she teaches at that now rare --but relevant-- species of institution, a college for men, Wabash College in central Indiana.
