Cardinal Wolsey dissolves 22 small religious houses, all of which have fewer than 7 members, in order to raise funds for the foundation of colleges at Ipswich and Oxford. The latter, originally named Cardinal College, is renamed as King's College after Wolsey's fall, and later becomes known as Christchurch College.
